Meet Mosaic

Welcome to Mosaic Foods! We’re a Public Benefit Corporation with a double bottom line that marries our business with an ambitious social mission: to serve as the catalyst for plant-based diets across the country and to facilitate the United States’ transition to 200 billion meatless meals eaten yearly by 2035.

We started Mosaic because we believe eating more plants is better for our bodies and the world. Plant-centric diets are associated with better health outcomes (like lower risk of blood pressure issues, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes) and lower environmental impact (for example, less greenhouse gas emissions and water consumed per meal). The journey to eating more plants doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing change. Regardless of where you (or your business!) may be - we’re here to support your goals and have a delicious time along the way.

After years of serving our customers, we are proud to offer product innovation and co-manufacturing support to partners in service of this mission. From our own experience growing a direct-to-consumer brand, we fully understand the pain points and needs of our clients.

    FOUNDERS

    Matt and Sam met as strategy consultants at Bain & Company before transitioning to lead operations at Blue Apron and running a growth marketing consultancy, respectively. Both consistently struggled to find easy, convenient ways to eat good, nutritious food while managing their busy work schedules; eventually creating the solution themselves with Mosaic Foods.

  • Christine Malanga

    HEAD CHEF

    Christine graduated from the International Culinary Center and kicked off her post-grad career working behind the scenes on top Food Network shows before going on to join the product development team at Pret a Manger. Now, she’s the mastermind behind Mosaic’s kitchen, sharing her love of colorful, healthy food with our customers (and theirs).
